Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them:
if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;
if service, in our serving;
the one who teaches, in his teaching;
the one who exhorts, in his exhortation;
the one who contributes, in generosity;
the one who leads, with zeal;
the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
Romans 12:6-8
Other Ministries
Facilities Ministry
"Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." Psalm 127:1
"And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock." Matthew 7:25
Our church building has a firm foundation; winds, storms, and floods have not prevailed against it. In that sense it is a symbol of our faith, for those who worship within its walls have their hope built upon the rock of our salvation, the Lord Jesus. The facilities team is responsible for maintenance and improvement of our buildings from lawn care and snow removal to heating and air conditioning. Its mission is to provide worthy physical structures so that our people may worship, serve, and be ministered to with full and unhindered attention.

Tutoring Club
In the fall of 2005, the EFCMM began offering weekly tutoring assistance for students (grades 3-5) referred to us by their teachers. Each weekly session included a hot meal, assistance on completed homework assignments, academic skills development, and Christian education. Both parents and teachers have expressed enthusiasm over the content and effectiveness of the program. The tutoring club grew from 7 to 13 students over the course of the school year. Much of the programs success is credited to the one-on-one commitment of each tutor to a specific child for the entire school year. Many volunteers committed their time to this wonderful ministry.

Usher Ministry
This ministry serves the church by assisting our congregation in all logistical aspects of our worship services, including everything from the distribution of worship folders and collection of offerings to the operation of our elevator for seniors and disabled. These and many other responsibilities are fulfilled while largely unseen.
