We welcome you to our services at EFCMM!  Our guests are invited to complete the Guest Reply section of this worship folder and drop it off at our Welcome Center after the service - we have a small gift for you! 

·        Childcare:  Sunday School – Sunday School – Mari Vesey, Cindy Belleque; Worship – Kole/Kelsie Weaver, Annabeth Rozanas; Children’s Church – Jill Lawrence & Stacy Love.  Activity packets are in the foyer for children to use.

·        Our Daily Bread:  Complimentary copies of Our Daily Bread devotional booklet, summer edition, are on the window ledges in the foyer.  One per family, please.

·        Youth Treats:  Sign up at the Welcome Center to provide treat for Youth Group on a Sunday evening.  The church will send you a reminder.

 

Announcements & Opportunities

 

Today at EFCMM

·        New Members:  It is with great joy that we welcome Linda Fultz, Barbara Marx and Sue Saul into the fellowship of EFCMM as new members!

·        Open House Invitation:  Our church family is invited to an Open House in honor of Jim Barton this afternoon from 2:00-4:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall.  Jim is graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Mechanics from Highland Community College.

·        Youth Group meets tonight at 5:00 p.m. in the CE Center.

·        Small Groups meet for their last meeting tonight.  See your leader for details.

 

This Week at EFCMM

·        Oregon High School Baccalaureate:  Pastor Lance will be taking part in the OHS Baccalaureate service this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Blackhawk Center.

·        Open House:  Our church family is invited to an Open House in honor of Bethany Berry on Saturday, May 25th, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Bethany is graduating from Oregon High School.

·        Childcare:  Sunday School – Mari Vesey, Kendra Oltmanns; Worship – Josh & Leslie Davidson, Bethany Berry; NO Children’s Church.

 

Preparation for Promotion Sunday, June 2

·        Samuel Soldiers:  Three adults are needed to present a Bible to our graduating 4th grade students at our Promotion Exercises on June 2.  They will also share in the cost of the Bible ($15) and pray for the student.  See Deb Steingraber to volunteer.

·        Graduates:  It is our custom to list our graduates and to honor our high school graduates on Promotion Sunday.  If you have an 8th grade, high school or college graduate in your family, please inform the church office.

 

Looking Ahead to June

·        Children’s Church will be discontinued during the months of June through August due to a lack of volunteers.  Resuming this ministry will depend on positive feedback for it and an adequate volunteer base.  Please contact Pam Tauch if this ministry is important to you and/or you would like to help with it.

·        Promotion Sunday/Honoring Graduates:  June 2nd.

·        All Dolled Up:   High Tea & Fashion Show for women of all ages, Saturday, June 8th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. To participate in the gift exchange, please bring a gift-wrapped teacup and saucer.  Sign-up begins next week.

·        Summer Sunday School begins June 9th.
