Announcements & Opportunities
Today is Communion Sunday at EFCMM: An offering box will be in the foyer to receive your Helping Hand offering for the needy in our church.

This Week at EFCMM
· Backyard Bible Club: Monday-Friday, from 10:00-11:15 a.m. at the home of Josh & Leslie Davidson, 212 E. Boyd in Dixon. If you can help Leslie host the club, please let her know.
· Youth Trip to Boundary Waters: Pastor Lance and Ken Sofolo are leading a Boundary Waters expedition for young men August 4-13.

· Missionary Todd Hiltibran: All adults (junior high+) will meet together during the Sunday School hour with missionary Todd Hiltibran, who serves with ReachGlobal in Hungary. He will give a brief report during the worship service.
· Childcare: Sunday School – Pam Tauch, Jody Rozanas; Worship – Dee & Danielle Hickman; Children’s Church – Judy Nixon, Deb Steingraber.
· Vanguard Lunch: All senior adults are invited to meet at the Fiesta Palace in Mt. Morris following the service for lunch; “Dutch Treat.” Reservations are NOT needed; see Tom or Darlene Shouer for details.
August Announcements
· Women’s Sewing Group will NOT meet during the month of August.
· Tutoring Club: We are looking for tutors and subs who will work one-on-one with a student once a week during the school year. Sign up at the Welcome Center.
· Sunday FunDay: Sunday, August 29th, at Dillehay Park in Mt. Morris, following the morning service. Mark your calendar and watch for details.
Host the Pennington Family over Labor Day: Former Associate Pastor Jonathan Pennington and his family will be with us on Sunday, September 5th. He will teach during the Sunday School hour and bring the message during the worship service. We are looking for a family to either host them for the weekend, or who would allow them to “house sit” if they happen to be out of town that weekend. Contact Joyce Long if you can help with this need.
