He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons
that the Father has fixed by his own authority.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you,
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the end of the earth."
Acts 1:7-8
Missions Ministry
At EFCMM, we understand missions to be the cross-cultural ministry of evangelism and church planting. Because God is seeking worshipers to honor his name from all people groups around the world, we see the work of missions as the means by which he uses his human servants to complete his mission. That includes every believer -- those who send and support as well as those who go and serve.
We believe in supporting our missionaries not merely through finances, but through prayer, as it is God's power that produces a spiritual harvest. While the mission is to preach salvation through Christ to all people, we are committed to serving the lost through attendant ministries of compassion and social action that fulfill the great commandment to love our neighbor and give integrity to our witness of the love of God in Christ.

Henry and Marcette Happ, and their two daughters Meghan and Lindsey, left in March, 2004. After attending Mt. Morris Free for 13 years, the Happs served as part of a team of four other ReachGlobal missionaries in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in an effort to launch a church planting movement of house or cell churches. While in Honduras, the Happs welcomed another daughter, Jordan. In 2008, the Happs transitioned to a new area of ministry with ReachGlobal in Costa Rica, with Henry working with the LATN project. Meghan is now a student at Moody Bible Institute. Visit the Happs' website here.

Tim and Andrea Hilty are the son and daughter-in-law of church chairman Chester Hilty and his wife, Mary. Tim and Andrea were married in 2002 and left in early 2006 to serve the HIV/AIDS community in Lusaka, Zambia as part of the ACTION Zambia team. They have a daughter Ireen (adopted from Zambia) and a son Ian. They maintain a website here.
Megan Bloemker is also a part of the Action Zambia team. Following a short-term mission trip to Honduras in 2001, she sensed that God was reawakening her heart towards missions and might be calling her to full time missions work. In early 2006 she began serving the Lord by ministering to the children of Lusaka. Click here to go to Megan's blog.
Tracy and Karen Singleton left Mt. Morris in January of 2008, after Tracy had served as EFCMM's senior pastor for the previous 13+ years, to begin ministry in Zambia with Action. Tracy's work will focus on the Pastoral Leadership Development program, which offers biblical training to pastors who cannot afford traditional schooling options. Tracy and Karen share stories, ministry updates, and prayer requests at their blog here.
