And Jesus came and said to them,

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:18-20

Outreach Ministry

At EFCMM, we want to be faithful to our Lord's "Great Commission" recorded in the passage above.  Just as we believe that salvation begins and ends with our gracious and merciful God, we see from Matthew 28:18-20 that our work of evangelism does as well.  That does not excuse us from the responsibility to declare the Gospel, but rather gives us the confidence and comfort to speak God's Word to a sinful world with boldness and compassion.  To see what we mean by "the Gospel," take a look at our Good News page.

The Outreach Ministry Team

The OMT consists of the following members:

Scott Rozanas (Team Leader and Elder)

Ken Kielsmeier

Lance Mennen

Tom Tauch

Mark Wolfe

Janet LaTour (prayer partner)

The mission of this team is to assist our church in its evangelistic mission by training for witness, encouraging the saints, and coordinating outreach activities. The team sees itself in a support role to assist our congregation, both individually and corporately, to fulfill Jesus' commission of his followers to make new disciples.

Some of the main strategies in which we use to accomplish this include:

  • holding yearly adult Sunday School classes in evangelism theology and training
  • providing a variety of evangelistic tools and resources for personal use and giving to others
  • sponsoring an annual community-wide outreach activity or event
