Welcome to the website of the Evangelical Free Church of Mt. Morris!  We are glad that you've found us on the internet, but would love even more to have you join us when we gather as a congregation on Sunday mornings to worship the God who is our Creator and Redeemer.  It is our aim to know God as he has revealed himself in the Scriptures, to love and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to make him known to all peoples.  This common belief and shared mission creates a community of faith to which we would invite you to experience with us.  We hope you will join us soon.

Today at EFCMM
• Today is Communion Sunday at EFCMM. An offering box will be in the foyer to receive your Helping Hand offering for the needy in our congregation. We have many families with pressing financial needs; we ask those who are able to give generously to this fund. Our Helping Hand fund details for the current fiscal year are as follows:
FY2010 Beginning Balance $13,676.87
FY2010 Income to date = $ 2,826.10
FY2010 Disbursements to date = $ 6,827.25
Helping Hand Balance $ 9,675.72

• Central Asia Prayer Group: Those who have expressed a desire to pray for Central Asia are asked to meet Paul Anderson at the front of the sanctuary immediately after the morning service for a brief meeting.
• Helps Ministry: We have many in your church family who are undergoing trials and physical suffering. One tangible way to help is by providing meals for them. If you can help with meal preparation for a family in need, please see Joan Cave or Joyce Long.

Tonight at EFCMM
• Youth Group meets this evening, 5:00 p.m., in the CE Center.
• Young Family Fellowship “Big Game” Party: 5:00 p.m., at the home of Steve & Becky Hodson, 6586 IL Route 64, West, in Mt. Morris. Bring an appetizer or snack to share, plus a beverage. Bring the family! Please let the Hodsons know if you plan to attend.
