We are glad that you've found us on the internet, but would love even more to have you join us when we gather as a congregation on Sunday mornings to worship the God who is our Creator and Redeemer. It is our aim to know God as he has revealed himself in the Scriptures, to love and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to make him known to all peoples. · No Regrets Conference for Men: Saturday, February 4th, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; hosted by Elmbrook Church in Milwaukee, WI. Cost is $30 per person. Contact Todd Wehler at 815-734-1374 to register.
February Calendar Items
· Reading Group: Thursday, February 16th, 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the CE Center. Anyone interested in being in a reading group is invited. We will discuss two books by C.S. Lewis, Til We Have Faces and The Screwtape Letters. We will also plan for future meetings and decide on reading material. Contact Paul Anderson at 815-734-4880 with any questions.
· Veggie Tales® Kids’ Event: See the latest Veggie Tales®, Robin Good & His Not So Merry Men on Saturday, February 18th, 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Our puppet team will perform. Door prizes, popcorn and fun for all ages!
Financial Peace University: EFCMM will once again serve as a host site for this 13-week course on financial management and debt reduction. The course will meet on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, beginning February 23rd. The cost is $100 per household. To register for the class, sign up at the Welcome Center. Please indicate if you need childcare.
Zambia Teaching Mission: Last Sunday we announced that both Pastor Bruce and Eric Forman will each do a 2-week teaching session for the Zambia Pastors’ Seminary during the month of May. We will be raising funds to help with their expenses. Watch for details.
