Outreach Opportunities
5-Week Apologetics Bible Study for Non-Christians began Wednesday, June 17th, 6:00 p.m., at Baker Street (111 W. First Street in Dixon). The study is led by Scott Rozanas and Pat Love. We encourage you to come and bring someone with you who does not yet know Christ. Please let Scott or Pat know if you will be attending.
Annual Let Freedom Ring Outreach: Sunday, July 5th, featuring Christian Comedian Dennis Swanberg at 5:00 p.m. at the Kable Bandshell. The event is free; soda, bottled water and treats are complimentary. An offering will be received to benefit the Mt. Morris food pantry. Everyone can have a part in blessing the community of Mt. Morris through this event. We need 1000+ cookies/bars/brownies, people to put up posters, a set-up and tear-down crew, servers, greeters, ushers, and A/V techies. Sign up at the Welcome Center to help.
WQFL/WGSL Movie Night: We have the opportunity to partner with Christian radio stations WQFL and WGSL out of Rockford in hosting a free outdoor movie night for our Mt. Morris community on Friday, July 10th at Dillehay Park. They will be showing the movie, The Tale of Despereaux, at dusk. Prior to the show, door prizes will be given away, and the Rockford band, Tow, will perform. Plan to come and bring your neighbors!
· Annual Congregational Meeting & Celebration of Grace: Sunday, July 19th. We will follow our regular Sunday schedule. We would like to have a baptism service during the celebration. If you have not yet been baptized, please contact one of our pastors for a baptism interview.
Birthday Remembrance: Our oldest charter member, Clara Long, will be 104 on July 12th. Cards may be sent to her at 1297 Bent Tree Drive, Hudsonville, MI
